Questions

What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL is a whole container for you alone. LCL is shared space, charged by the cubic metre. Under about 12 cubic metres LCL is usually cheaper; above that a full container often is.

Can you clear customs as well?

Yes. Clearance is included in a door-to-door rate and quoted as its own line, so you can see it.

How far ahead should I book?

Ten to fourteen days before the cargo is ready is comfortable. Tighter is possible on most lanes.
